An inside look at non-fat goat milk powder and why we include it in KABRITA Goat Milk Formula.
What is it?
The non-fat goat milk powder used in KABRITA Goat Milk Formula is dehydrated premium non-GMO liquid goat milk. Fresh goat milk from The Netherlands is dehydrated via a spray drying method and the fat is removed. In the US, the infant formula industry standard is to replace animal fat with a vegetable oil blend in order to best match the complex fatty acid composition found in breast milk. KABRITA Goat Milk Toddler Formula meets the FDA nutrition guidelines and the fat is replaced with a unique OPO fat blend.
Why do we add it?
Non-fat goat milk powder is the protein base for KABRITA Goat Milk Formula. Protein is a critical macronutrient that supports a wide range of body functions, including structural support, healthy growth and development, and a robust immune system. Goat milk protein is naturally easy to digest as it forms a softer, smaller and looser curd in the gut, and it is degraded more quickly, compared to cow milk.
